Rules
Yamato Rules
Yamato has two sections: General events and Einherjar.
Each section has its own rule set. In addition, the breakout groups often have their own individual rules which may not be listed here.
Earning Points and Your Attendence
- Each event, you may earn 4 points per hour, with a maximum of 20 points a day.
- Overtime pay of 4 points may be applied if we go over 4 hours in a single day.
- Leaders/Points keeper will subtract points accordingly for lateness or leaving early.
- *NEW* Three (3) run rule - Players must attend 3 runs in the past 30 days to be able to lot items or pop NMs.
- Part-time players (those who can only show up to 1 day of the week) will have a 60 day window for the 3 runs. However, part-time players must be approved first by the LS leaders. Players wishing to switch from full-time to part-time must make their intentions clear and secure confirmation that they are now part-time.
ZNMs and Outside Farming
- Points will be awarded for bringing Outside Triggers for LS use based on LS needs.
- Alternatively, for Sea/Sky farming you can bring your own pop sets and this gives you the right to keep 1 drop, except for trigger drops.
- This excludes JOL and Kirin. JOL/Kirin will always be popped within the LS as an LS pop. You cannot use outside triggers for these mobs.
ZNMs
- Members must farm their own Zeni as linkshell time will be used only for ZNM fights.
- ZNMs to be fought will be posted in the Linkshell Message (lsmes) 2 days prior to the next event. It is the responsibility of members to have points and pop item ready. ZNM's will be chosen based on path to Tier 4 NM and proximity to other ZNM.
- Tier I & Tier II pops will cost no points to the trigger user.
- Tier III pops will cost 5 points per pop. (ideally a members should not pop more than 1 of the same tier III per branch (ie: Sarameya Branch), and no more than 2 Tier III per event.)
- Tier IV pops will cost 20 points.
ZNM Item Costs
- Tier I and II items will go to the Trigger user.
- Unwanted R/E item may be freelotted at no cost and given away.
- Tier III items will go to the Trigger user. This include grips and other gil items EXCEPT Organics (points cost 50) if ORB user wants to keep it.
- Unwanted Tier III R/E weapons and armor will be auctioned off. Auctioning starts at 10 points. Bidders may bid up to 30 points. If more than one person wants an item @30 points, the person with more points wins.
Tier IV
- ORB user can pick up to THREE items (weapons, synthethis, armor) to keep. This does not the include possible Trophy drop, which is also yours to keep.
- TIER 4 TROPHY: If trophy drops, ORB user has the option to lot it. If they already have it and are unable to lot, it is auctioned off @ 20 points in LS.
- Synth items not kept by orb user over 100k in value will be auctioned in a competitive bidding system similar to sky and V2 drops.
- R/E Armor not kept by the Orb user is auctioned off at 50 points.
- Hachiryu Gear: In the possibility ORB user does not want to keep Hachiryu gear, the points cost is 150 LS points.
- WEAPONS (Alkalurops, Shusui, Pachipachio, Foolkiller, Antares, Enforcer): In the possibility ORB user does not want to keep these weapons, the points cost to LS member wishing to bid is 150.
All other General Events: Synthesis Item Rules
- Synthesis Materials are Goods that can be put on the auction house, bazaared or sold for gil.
- Items over 100k:
- Will be auctioned to the highest bidder.
- There will be a starting price, and anyone will points can bid with the first bid matching the base points value
- For the next bidder, he/she must bid higher than the current high bid.
- If two members bid the same amount, the first person to bid that amount will get the high bid.
- Members may not go into negative points to obtain a synthesis material.
- Currently, Novio Earring, Novia Earring, Kirins Osode, Cashmere Cloth/Thread (Shair Manteel) are not considered Synthesis Material and they are not obtained through bid process but through normal LOOT distribution rules. Owners of these items may not resell these items without explicit permission from LS.
General Event Points LOOT Distribution
- Applies to RARE/EX LOOT, and drops of high value (Kirin's Osode, Novio Earring etc).
- If an item is not declared as wanted and drops, it is a points lot. Points are open to anyone with the appropriate job leveled and will be charged normal price of the item.
- Loot priority is determined by points. The person with the highest point wins.
- If two or more people are within 5 points of each other, they can both lot.
- It is preferable you have the appropriate jobs leveled. Treat others what you would like to be treated yourself.
- Members are allowed to go into negative points for most rare/ex loot. Once there they may not lot on any loot until they return to a positive points amount. Negative points may not exceed 30.
- If you do not want a certain item, please PASS. If the auto-distribution system gives you an unwanted item, you will lose points until you show proof you have disposed of it.
- The only way to redeem points for auto-lotted rare/ex loot is to drop the item, take a screenshot and post it in our forums to be reviewed and approved by an officer.
