No Sephiroth
A Dynamis Shell
NoSephiroth Dynamis Rules
General Rules
-Dual boxing is not permitted. Multiple character accounts are allowed, but points will be pooled together for those accounts, and only one is allowed in the zone at a time.
-Come prepared. You should bring food appropriate for your job, and medicines required for the zone. Reraise items are recommended. So is a buffer.
-No Pankration cameras are allowed during pulls. Wait until stuff is almost dead, or volunteer for a sac pull, if you want Pankration soul plates.
-Set your linkshell text to Hold. Set up an assist macro for the appropriate caller each run. White mages, set up a Raise III macro.
-Be prepared to come on any job you have at Dynamis levels. Selecting an armor to lot is your agreement to come on that job if needed.
-At the start of the run you will be expected to place your hourglass in your bazaar for 1 gil. In the event that you afk without warning, an officer will purchase your glass to eject you from the zone. You will be permitted back into the zone if it is safe and there is more than 10 minutes left. If you fail to put your hourglass in the bazaar, we will forcibly eject you from the zone via D2 if you are in the middle of a pulling path, and you will not be permitted back in again that run.
-At the 10 minute warning, if you must afk, please drop your hourglass and exit the zone.
-Any issues or problems internal to the linkshell should be discussed with an officer. We will intervene if needed.
MORE DETAILED RULES ARE CONTINUED BELOW. KEEP READING!
Attendence Policy
-You are expected to attend all runs that are humanly possible. If you are on FFXI during our run time, you are expected to be in Dynamis.
-If you are running late, we usually have a mule stationed outside with an hourglass. This mule will be available for 30 minutes past the time we enter. Please check in with the linkshell to find out who is running the mule.
-After approximately 30 minutes, we will close the zone due to the repop patterns. If you check in too late to enter, you will not be counted present for the day. Officers may enter later than 30 minutes to assist but will not earn a point for attendence, nor will they be permitted to lot.
-If you know ahead of time that you will be missing a run, go ahead and make a post on the forum. This ensures that your membership remains active, and lets the rest of the linkshell know not to expect you. All real life events take precedence over a video game, so don't be afraid to tell us!
-Emergencies happen. If possible, please notify a member or officer ahead of time if you have an urgent real life matter to attend. If warning us ahead of time is not possible, after the emergency is over go ahead and make a post to let us know you're ok.
-If you will be missing more than 2 weeks or so worth of runs, you may request a formal leave of absence. Note that this is for major real life events only, such as moving, being out of the country on a business trip, getting stuck with crappy shifts at work, etc. Give an estimated time of when you expect to be back, if possible. Your name will be placed on the LOA list and you will be excused from posting daily. However, after two weeks you will be asked to attend one run to reactivate before lotting again.
-If you fail to attend at least one run during a two week, and no leave of absence was requested, you will be considered AWOL and removed from active roster automatically by the DKP. Your are not eligible to lot when you are inactive! Reactivating is as simple as showing up for another run.
-After three runs you are considered a full member of the linkshell and you can declare city relic. After 10 runs you may declare northlands armor. After fifty runs you are eligible to be promoted to a veteran member, with an active role in running the linkshell and access to secret strategy and discussion forums.
-Special event runs (namely Tavnazia) may have additional attendence restrictions due to the limited number of available slots.
Points Policy
-For each run you attend, you will earn one point.
-If you abstain from lotting relic, you will earn one additional point.
-Low-man runs (under 25 members for our shell) will earn double points.
-Points are used to determine lotting privledges on priority items only.
-City relic has a cost of 3 points.
-Northlands relic has a cost of 6 points.
-Outlands relic has a cost of 5 points for accessories and relic -1 pieces. Normal city drops cost the same as they would in a city.
-Attestations and Dynamis Lord drops do not have an associated points cost, but they are assigned at officer discretion. Attestations will go to veteran members first.
-At this time currency has no points cost. Currency is available to linkshell members for the purpose of +1 upgrades only at a discount price. Contact Catwho after you win a -1 piece. (The linkshell will give you your first +1 upgrade on the house.)
Relic Declarations and Priority Items
-Prior to each run, eligible members may select one piece of relic that drops from a zone to lot. If no relic drops that you can equip, you may choose to lot synthesis drops instead.
-You are eligible to declare city items for jobs that are level 65+ after you have attended three runs. You are eligible to declare Northlands items after 10 runs for jobs that are 70+. You are eligible to declare Outlands accessories and -1 items after 10 runs for jobs that are 75 only.
-Synthesis materials are reserved for people not lotting relic. Please do not lot synth materials if you declared!
-Failure to select a piece of relic prior to run start disqualifies you from lotting the item that day, unless it is declared Open Lot 50+. Lotting declarations will be reviewed before we enter the zone.
-Outlands items have their own method of declaration. Please see our forums for instructions.
-Each member, upon full acceptance to the shell, is allowed to select one priority item. This can be any item that drops in any zone, including CoP areas.
-Priority items can only be selected for jobs that are level 75.
-City items may be prioritied after the 10th run. Northlands and CoP area items may only be prioritied after the 25th run.
-If multiple people select the same item, a queue forms for it. The person with the highest points will recieve the next drop. They may then select another item for priority.
-If your priority item has not dropped for over a year, you may change it. The only time that priority items may be changed is if you level a new job to 75.
-Points are updated on a per run basis through FFDKP. The current status and queues for any item may be viewed through the database.
Open Lots and Rotdrops
-If no one has requested an item, either through priority or through declaration, it will be called Open Lot 50+.
-Open lot items are open to anyone with the job at level 50 or above, for a full points cost, regardless of how many runs they have attended, or whether they declared.
-In the event that no one is eligible for an Open Lot item, it is declared a Rot Drop and is open to anyone with the job below level 50 for the cost of one point.
-There is a limit of one declared relic item and one open lot/rot drop item in each city zone, for an absolute maximum of two items in cities. There is a limit of one northlands relic armor per zone, regardless of whether it was priority, declared, open, or rot. There is a limit of one of each type of item in CoP zones, for a theoretical maximum of three items per run.
