Level cap 90 change in attendance cutoff (submitted by altana at 01:06pm CDT) Presently, any run which has less than 25 people in attendance receives double points. We mark these runs as "low man" since our current strategies rely on having at least 24 people to be most effective. When the cap goes up to Level 90, we will be changing the definition of "low man" for our linkshell to mean "18 or less at entrance." We will still try to have between 25-30 people for each raid, of course, as that allows us to tear zones to pieces and get lots of coins for everyone, but we will no longer give double points for raids that drop below the 25-person mark. |

Change in Wootz (submitted by altana at 01:03pm CDT) Due to the deflation of the price of wootz, we are cancelling the special rules for wootz, and it is once again considered a standard synthesis lot. As such, we will no longer be tracking wootz drops in the DKP. Since we started tracking wootz in October 2009, we have had 63 documented dropts, all of which went to linkshell members. At 200K a pop, that's over 12 million gil worth of wootz! |

Congratulations Pravus! (submitted by altana at 01:35am CST) Pravus has unlocked Apocalypse, making him the first officer in the linkshell to complete all 5 stages of a weapon. (Ulric previously unlocked stage 4, and Catwho's switch from club to horn means her stages were backwards, and she'll end up doing 4 and 5 in quick succession.) Additionally, Catwho obtained her mysterial fragment during the Xarcabard run on 3/2. |

DKP rule change (submitted by altana at 03:10pm CST) If you do not have access to a zone, but show up to check-in, you will now be listed as a "secondary" attendee and be rewarded one point (or 2 points for double runs.) This previously applied to CoP runs, but will now apply to Northlands as well. |

Change is good. (submitted by altana at 05:32pm CST) Several changes in the past few weeks. Catacomb has retired from Dynamis. Due to unforeseen scheduling circumstances (7AM classes, poor Pie), Ayashi has formally stepped down from office duties. Because this left us without two of our more valuable officers and members, we have promoted Axilla and Kentaro to full officer positions to help out with the running of the shell. Kentaro has been with NoSeph since the dawn of time and knows the zones better than anyone else besides Pravus. Axilla will use his amazing good looks and charm and wit to make the mobs follow him around like the pied piper. Congrats you two! |

Website Overhaul (submitted by altana at 01:35pm CST) The website has been updated. A few changes have also been implemented into the rules. A summary of these changes: - Members who check into CoP or Northlands runs that do not have access will now be listed as secondary attendees in the DKP. A point will manually be deducted. This is to ensure they remain active in the DKP, although they do not earn a point. - CoP/Northlands runs now require 25 runs to request a priority. This has increased from 10. The minimum number of runs to declare at the start of a CoP or Northlands run remains 10. - The mule will be kept active for 30 minutes past run start. Officers may enter later but will not earn points, be allowed to lot, or be counted present. Members who enter within the 30 minute period may not request an item, but will have their priorities counted as well as be allowed to lot open lots and rot drops. - If your name is kicked off the STANDINGS page due to inactivity, you must attend a run to "reactivate" in order to declare items or have your priority count. If your name isn't showing up on the front page, you can't declare. This includes LOAs. Essentially, you can get away with coming to 1 run every two weeks and keep full lotting privileges at all times. That's 25% attendance. It's not that hard! |

DKP Reboot (submitted by altana at 03:35pm CDT) Alas, no data could be recovered for the Dynamis DKP due to an error in the SQL save file. Points are being manually entered up to 10/6/09, and then raids will be entered normally again for points after that. Please repost your priority request in the forums! |
